Electric Piano Keyboard
There are keyboards and there are digital pianos. Keyboards, by nature, often have fewer keys. People buy smaller keyboards because they don’t want to use up room for a full size keyboard or piano.
If you are wanting to play piano on a digital instrument you should look more at digital pianos, which are much more likely to sound like the real thing than little keyboards.
You should definitely try to get the standard 88 keys. If you want to play a song that uses a key that you don’t have you will not be able to play it unless you improvise the song and play the notes on a different octave or something.
If you can afford it, Clavinova digital pianos by Yamaha are among the best. I’ve also heard good things about Roland and Kawai.
