The Soundmatters SLIMstage40 is an ultra slim low profile 5.1 surround bar for anyone looking for a great home theater experience without the need for speakers around the room, or a separate AV amplifier. Designed to tuck discretely above or below a flatpanel TV, it switches audio inputs for up to six different sources (3 digital and 3 analog) and it's 170Wrms of built-in power drives individual patented front and rear channel speakers plus 3 sets of internal bass arrays, each incorporating 1 active and 2 passive woofers). SLIMstage's proprietary EuphonyHD (TM) circuitry creates surround from most audio signals including: PCM 2.0, Dolby Pro Logic, DTS and DTS 5.1...and no reflecting walls are required. Designed to be simple to both install and operate, SLIMstage includes some great remote-control features such as: NIGHT LISTENING, DIALOG+, BASS LEVEL, separate HEADPHONE VOLUME control. A SETUP menu is offered for more advanced features and customization. Additional features included: Wall bracket and shelf mount feet, RS-232 control, Sub Out, Rear Channel Out, Speaker Level In (analog 2), "iPod" Input on frontpanel (analog 3), Virtual Surround Headphones (when speakers are off), 4 audio cables, IR remote.
