The Yamaha P-85 digital piano.

What is the best digital piano I can find for cheap? I’m looking for a nice sounding digital piano. Something that sounds as close to an ACOUSTIC piano as possible, for around under 0-ish. I’ve got a pretty awful keyboard right now, (Yamaha PSR-190) and now that I’ve gotten into playing the piano legitimately, it’s no longer enjoyable to play.

Honestly, It is not easy to find something with a very good acoustic piano at that price. Nothing compares to the sound of a good acoustic piano.

I paid $1500 for my Motif ES and it sounds incredible, but its not an acoustic piano. Kurzweil has the best sounding piano, period, but you’re gonna pay alot it. If price is important, go with a Casio Privia, a Yamaha p70 or p80 or a Yamaha NP30. The rest of the sounds on there are not great, bc more has been invested in the sound of the piano. It is also an 88 key with piano feel – this is best for you to build strength in your fingers. Check http://www.musiciansfriend.com/clearance
