How do you unstick a digital home piano key?

I have a digital home piano (keyboard) and the one key is oftentimes not playing. I have to play extremely slowly from note to that note if I want it to work. Any of you with experience, how can I fix it?

It depends on your keyboard, if its a digialt piano, there are many factors that could be affecting it.
Step 1 : Call a repair man
Step 2 If you dont want to do that here is what you cna do
I have worked on digital pianos, and without knowing the brand or make, its hard to diagnose without any information.
But slow keys usally mean 1 of 2 things
1 – Something is stuck in there or out of place
2 – Something is broken or worn out,
Now, if your piano is out of warranty and you dont want to call someone, just take it apart, theres isnt much to it.
Here’s what I woudl do
1 ; Un Plug the piano- DO NOT DO NOT LEAVE THE PIANO PLUGGED IN – AND DO NOT PLUG IT BACK IN UNTIL YOU PUT EVERYTHING BACK AS YOU FOUND IT
2 : get a piece of cardboard,
Punch holes in the cardboard, when you remove a screw, put in in a hole in the carboard, and lable it, you need to put the screws back in the right place and you dont want to lose them
3 – Start taking apart the piano, start at the top. Usually the top of a piano is held in place with 4-8 screws on the back of the piano near the top
4 – Once you get inside, you’ll see there isnt much in there. But you’ll begin to see how the keyboard / action is held in place. Remove the keycover. See if something is stuck in the keys from the top
5 – If you still see nothing, then you can unplug the keyboard / action, usually a computer type dim cable, not hard wired. Then start to remove the screws from the bottom of the piano, remove one at a time, and do not do this while the piano is upright, set the piano on its back, just in case your dumb enough to remove the stand screws and have the piano fall on your head
6 – Once you remove the action screws form the bottom of the piano, the keyboard should slide out
7 – From there its up to you, there are so many action types, its hard to knwo what ot look for. But see if something is stuck in there, or looks different from the keys next to it
A few other notes,
DO NOT FORCE ANYTHING , IF IT DOESNT SLIDE OUT OR UNPLUG EASILY DO NOT DO NOT FORCE ANYTHING – IF YOU HAVE TO FORCE IT IT MEANS YOUR NOT SUPOSE TO TAKE IT PART
USE COMMON SENSE
AND UNPLUG IT UNPLUG IT UNPLUG IT
In my experience, something stuck, or a mis alinged part is not the cause of a sticking key, it is uaully caused by a worn out or borken spring inside the action itself and to repair or replace the part requires more than just a look see.
But who knows you muight get lucky.
