What are the best pianos for live performances?
I am looking to buy a piano/keyboard. Of course digital. But i wanted peoples opinion on what is the best piano for live performances.
I’m in a alternative rock band and we are looking to start performing and so i need to buy a piano.

Roland, Yamaha, Kurzweil are all good – the actual choice will be whichone you think is best for you.
Listen to the sounds, look at the connectivity, look at the build quality. Pick it up and carry it round the shop.
It is all well and good picking the best sounding piano, if you feel like crying when you get to a venue and load in is up three flights of stairs, or worse load in down three flights, making loadout (in the dark, and when tired) up three flights. Also look at how quickly you can go from cased, to ready to play and back again. Do you really want the drummer to beat you?
Build quality is a double edged sword. A well built piano may take the bumps and scrapes of the live world, but how heavy is it? and just as important, how heavy is the case?
